cause your kids team could beat NYRB? Maybe in chess, but not in soccer. Just be happy that a CT team won a big game? Are you that scared of Oakwood? "Loser" doesn't even come close to describing you.

one win in a close game, two losses against mid table teams. good for them, but come on.

"Come on" what? Really? Should we be criticizing the accomplishments of these kids? What's the deal with everyone hating on all these clubs. OW in this case. You should be bragging that a CT team beat NYRB. But noooooooo, we spew hatred for the club and say the kids got lucky, etc.

Maybe because OW made a big deal of the win on social media then went zero dark thirty with the next two games (losses BTW)

The hate is of OW trying to mislead people. Particularly the parents. Drinking the kool aid

First, not every MLS team is a "top team." Even MLS clubs have struggles with certain years or overall (NE Revs for example). RB hasn't been as strong as it once was since NYCFC came along.
Second, it was a close game. Things happen in any given game. Play the same team again it could be a loss. Third, the team lost the next two games. That's not a winning record for the weekend is it? Start beating other MLS teams on a regular basis then there's something to brag about. Oh wait, they won't play many MLS clubs the rest of the year. Enjoy playing Seacoast and Empire 5 more times and feeling good about yourselves

no kidding. my kid had a great club coach, taught her a ton and really how to play the game and we leave for OW only to play Kick and chase. I mean come on, where's the build and the possession. we spend the whole year playing the ball over the top with some 'renown' college coach. Holy crap

Not the poster but a lot of people can't leave mid season - either because they can't get on another team or can't afford to pay twice (because you definitely won't get your money back)

Did your kid go to an NPL team? If so, they couldn't care less how they play as long as your checks come in on time and do not bounce.

Unreal the hate for kids soccer. Hate this club for this reason, hate another club for that reason. Pick your poison with whatever club your kids decide. Daddy coaches, coaches favoring certain kids, clubs publicizing wins and not losses, clubs trying to win, weak league, strong league, blah blah blah. The reality is that we are all on the same boat, whether you like it or not. None of your kids will be playing for the USWNT and if they are they are the <1% and then they've probably already been identified, DA or not. If whatever club your kid plays for is a good fit for her or him then thats great. If they go on to play soccer in college thats good. If they go and get a scholarship, thats fantastic. At the end of the day, its kids soccer. Pipe down folks.

Much of the club on club bashing is amongst club owners/employees, not parents. Most parents don't give a hoot about what happens at other clubs. They care about their kid's teams and that's about it.

Besides, lecturing this group is as useful as tits on a bull.
