Well.....ridgefield was A finalist for 4 years straight, winning two and then got beat by a goal in the semis. Not a bad run. They don’t have a club in their backyard. Had they made the final, it would have been something never done in LL history, 5 straight finals. It didn’t happen, but before you go speculating who is the best in CT, make sure you are objective.

so, in your objective view, is Ridgefield the best?

Most on this forum would claim oakwood is not good, but if you want to use them as an excuse, your choice.

I believe Wilton ran off at least 5 finals in a row back in the day. LL may not have existed back then, but they were in biggest division

Trumbull had the best run of all time. They didn’t even allow a GOAL all season one year. Won like 5 in a row big girl titles. It’s not even a discussion.

They got beat, no one from Ridgefield made any disparaging remarks against southington. They had a great year and deserved to be in the final.

Trumbull never won 5 in a row. Wilton was before LL, but yea, they too had a dominant run, albeit a long time ago before girls soccer really took off. Help to have one of the greatest us players in the world playing there.
