Nah. No reason to decide now. The beauty of an option is to not exercise that option until you need to. She will just bump some other kid to the bench if she shows up. Not an issue. No need to tryout now. Why take all of that wear and tear during HS?

I find it so funny that when a parent posts a reason that they are not choosing ECNL, then they get lambasted by the ECNL crowd for making a bad choice. It's as if the ECNL people think everyone should view the world and make decisions as they do. Sorry, but people have their own minds and make their own decisions. And the best is that those decisions don't impact anyone else. I don't know why anyone would lambaste someone for making a personal decision.

But they aren't attacking the parents for their decision. That's the big difference. The costs and the competitiveness are big reasons why people aren't choosing ECNL. That goes hand in hand with why they are choosing the Academy. But for some reason, the ECNL people can't handle that choice. Hey, if you are choosing ECNL, more power to you.
