The opposite. The boys were faster overall and more aggressive attacking the ball in 50-50s, most of the time. The forward for the boys #12 did end up on the wrong end of some of those tackles a few times though...

Again, this happens every time boys play girls. This isn't anything special. I know you think that your girls are the only ones to have ever roughed up a bunch of boys, but I've seen it dozens of times.

        Keep dreaming.

There is a huge difference in technical abilities between the boys and girls art U14.

You should go watch some boys games some time then you will agree that the boys took it easy on the girls last night. The score was 4-0 and could have easily been 10-0.

            Obviously

My son is stronger than your daughter...

Yes. If they want a fair fight, then need to play against some U13 boys. And they might even be too much for them.

You know so much about THUSC, but not doing ECNL.

Maybe if your daughter practiced 3 times per week she would make an ECNL team and you would not be so bitter.
Probably not since I have boys...but many of my friends have girls who play soccer and I like to stay current with what is going on...but nice response anyway jerkwad.

They beat the U13's. The WSTU14 was too much for them. But the point wasn't to win. It was to speed up play, be physical and think faster.

I think its great practice for girls to play against boys. Really ups the physicality. But the boys tend to not play as aggressive. It's uncomfortable getting in their space the way you would with boys v boys.

Just because ex-jocks and various announcers are too clumsy with the English language that they change the definition of words, it doesn't mean that the population at large has to follow suit. Take out physicality, replace with physical aspect of the game and you are golden.

                          Physicality:

                          noun, plural physicalities.
                          1. the physical attributes of a person, especially when overdeveloped or overemphasized.
                          2. preoccupation with one's body, physical needs, or appetites.

Fine. But this team is far from the first team ever to do this as a way to prepare them for faster play. It seems like the first poster who mentioned that they played boys was so excited that she failed to recognize that this is a well known tactic for girls teams.
