Once you have been around the block a few times and you go back and see little kids like 10 yr olds playing soccer, even the very best, it's even more baffling.
I was at a U8 game the other day and wow you should have seen this team go. Do they rank 7 year olds too?

This goes on for about three/four years. Who's better? Who going where? Talk smack about gotsoccer and lastpanet rankings.
A few teams may emerge after those years that consistently get ragged on. Then poof..... No one talks. So enjoy your three or four years. They start NOW.

Several of the girls still sleep with a wubby blanket and others still watch re-runs of Sesame Street from the golden era. Many are still reading cardboard backed picture books.
The show they put on out muscling the other team, passing the ball with pace, and an assortment of cryuffs, elastico, scissors and other moves left parents howling with delight.
This is a squad that might be seven years old, but are on the the top scout's radar.

My 15 year old can't even spell cryuff much less pull one off!
We should pull together as a forum and support these amazing 7 year olds. Maybe have a TS day where we all come out and watch a game? I am in. Come on people, let's do this.

Looks like Timbers TS has a strong team from cup results? Do they plan any tournaments outside area?
