The majority of clubs, with the exception of one or two, have to rent their fields from local schools. They don’t have any type of “home field” at all, but you’re going to judge this club based on one of their three grass fields behind their stadium. Sounds petty to me. Let’s move on to the level of teams they have. For the most part they have a successful club for such a small organization. There is no other club in the Western part of the state that can even remotely compare. Considering all of the big box cutter clubs have tried to make in roads in the west with very little success I would say the Pioneers crappy back grass fields are the least of your worries.

Well first it was put out there that they play in a nice stadium. Second they have partnered up with FSA and others to try stay relevant and your claim on BIG BOX cutter clubs haven't had success is probably way off

Yes but saying nice stadium but crappy grass fields in the same breath is really a back handed compliment. The facility is adequate to nice, not run down. The perception when saying crappy grass fields is that it’s a horrible complex, which it’s not. Not suggesting that it’s country club grade grass either.

Now with the big box cutter comment, it’s not way off. GPS west is gone Boston Bolts is attempting to grab some teams but that will be short lived and we all know that. Abbey Villa has one maybe two teams. Bayside also one maybe two teams. CFC trying to get a foot hold in Western Mass but won’t get past Agawam or Longmeadow. . The only club that has had any success has been NEFC West. But with NEFC although they have had some extremely successful teams they just have not gotten the numbers I am sure they had hoped for. Pioneers have been consistent with numbers. Sometimes they are high sometimes they need kids but for the most part they have maintained their numbers. It’s a small club that predominantly pulls from one or two towns. We aren’t talking the revolution of the west here but they aren’t trash either.

How do you know the numbers they wanted and have um you don’t and by the way most of the WUP teams are in lower brackets in leagues and tournaments so just stop

I don't know anything about what it's like to be in the WUP club, but our kids have played them on the girls side and WUP fields very good teams.

And hard to really tell but the players and parents seem like decent people, unlike a lot of the big eastern MA clubs.
