I would guess it would be for 16 and 17 yr olds. There would be no advantage for a 2014 to go to this. For a 2015 or 16 it would be a good opportunity.

Of course. Which is why they were both named Super Y coaches which is after the season. There are no firings, no loss of ECNL and FKK will still not be affiliated with FYSA.

Good luck taking your superstars all the way in a dieing league. Maybe you can make the finals in showcase this year.

What does a big sponsorship mean? Are you suggesting that RB is one and done at OCYS?

It is not Dallas Cup that has been done already. Its Dallas Super Cup which is U9 thru U12.

The answer is nothing. Nothing was achieved. The stadium is still being built, the MLS team is still coming to Orlando, OC will still provide soccer to poor children as agreed to in the proposed stadium funding plan.

The coalition will do nothing. They have done nothing for a month now. No more webpages, no press releases, no angry petitions. They think they have won something so they are doing nothing.

The truth is that Phil is a lot smarter than a bunch of self-entitled soccer dads and their myopic club coaches. He simply said, "OK, you want to help grow soccer? You want to help those less fortunate by providing free soccer programming? Then the field is all yours."

You see Phil knows these clubs won't step up and play the larger role of growing soccer. They are all in it for the interests of their club only. That does not include providing free soccer to kids who will never afford to be members of their pay-to-play club.

Those who have been around pro sports know that each team takes the responsibility to do what the local clubs can't afford to do. They have players make appearances at schools and conduct free clinics in city parks. They provide free tickets to boys and girls clubs and they donate equipment to schools and leagues. The Magic do it. The Bucs do it. The Marlins do it.

So it would be wise for the coalition to either step up or shut up. With each passing day of inactivity they are showing the commission what whiny little brats they are and just making the case for Phil.
The Coalition prevented the attempted takeover of fields and premium practice times under the guise of abiding by their agreement.

The coalition will continue to work together as issues arise that affect the youth soccer community in central Florida. The coalition is not working on your timetable or your agenda.

^^^See? Short, concise answers to your long winded overwrought rants. Just like I would expect, Counselor, you protest too much in trying to convince others of your weak arguments.

Encased in your purple bubble, apparently you don't know that other clubs have free clinics, donate equipment and do their part in community outreach. Of course, since Phil and OCYS expect a financial or goodwill return on these otherwise routine actions, your club must promote and advertise these actions as if you were only source of good deeds in Orlando.

                Everyone sees through it.

The OP is the original FKK Troll that posted AH and DT were being fired and replaced by Brazilian coaches. I am happy to report AH and DT are alive and well and coaching at SSC several months after these rumors were started.

If you would like your daughter to play in CDL which has lost teams to FPL and FSPL, then go ahead and check out FKK. If your daughter shows real talent and you would like her to play against the best of the best, then have her check out OC ECNL. If they are as poor as FKK claims, she should have no trouble making the team and playing quality minutes in front of 600 college coaches.

The bottom line is there is no harm in trying-out for both clubs. Many did it last year and, ultimately, you go where the best fit is for your daughter. To be clear, FKK will not be playing in FPL, FSPL, R3PL or NPL next year. If you go there, you will play CDL.

Those are the facts. The choice is yours to make.
Propaganda. OC is deeply concerned they will have trouble getting players to tryouts. They simply haven't earned the right to call themselves "Elite", and wearing a patch is meaningless if the program is below standard.

Although, it sure helps the coaches at Nova and St Leo to claim they attracted "ECNL players".

So OCYS is keeping those crappy coaches.

They aren't working to help the kids in the soccer community, they are trying to save their own butts. The irony is Orlando City just seems to want the better kids, not all the rec. if I were the coalition I would be more concerned about who needs the money that those rec kids generate for their club to run. OC has cash.

I think that means he got someone else to slap a logo on the uniforms.

The Coalition distorted facts in order to prevent OC from having access to the fields. You won't admit it, but that is what happened. I don't blame the other clubs for wanting to have access to the fields. But you used the same tactics you accuse OC of using, so stop acting like you are morally superior to OC. You don't like OC, and you will do anything you can to try to destroy them, even if it hurts the local youth soccer community. Just be honest about it.

And the Coalition says they don't want OC to provide free soccer to underprivileged kids even if the programs are done through the local schools. How does preventing these programs benefit the youth soccer community?

Can't be (E)lite with clubs and teams at this level. All three lack the structure and development to sustain improved league performance. Yes, ECNL is about winning and at a minimum being competitive. All three of these clubs aren't winning and only competitive with each other.

Relegation is coming within 18 months.
Here is some real time for those in Southeast.

Region 3 league is better then ECNL.

ECNL has let it's guard down and allowed clubs to enter that are well below standard

ECNL will be a league of the past if they do nothing but watch poor soccer occur.

                              College coaches know the truth

So the "questioner" gains in two ways - OCYS is hurt by not getting the best players, and their club benefits from retaining their best players. And the players are pawns in the game.
How about OC misleading players to go to OC, only to lose it the following year. OC cares about no one but OC.
