    New club kits 20-21

Are any of these clubs going to charge families for new kits this year considering everything else that is going on are will they get an extra year out of what they wore this past season?

Yes. New kits. Every 2 years. If you don’t like it go pay 70 dollars for a town t-shirt and socks

It’s actually $35 for the shirt and $12 for the soccer, but we’ll forgive you because you are so used to grossly overpaying for club soccer. That’s nothing more than top town talent wearing $300 uniforms anyway.

I’m sorry you live in such a poor town.

After 2 years, my kid needs to size up whether the kits are new or not. Do other people’s kids not grow?

That's such a weird comeback. Do you get better soccer by being the poorest person in a rich town?

Of course, it’s a business is it not?

All of them, up to the uniform suppliers

Two points... First, most kids have grown out of their uniform after 2 years. Even if you don’t have to purchase a “new” kit, you probably need to buy replacements. Second, you don’t have to buy everything. Buy the game shirts and shorts if it’s that big of a deal. You probably have old socks that are the correct color and tell the coach your kid is going to wear last years practice uniform (assuming it fits). Honestly, if you’re that worried about a new kit after 2 years, you probably don’t want to be paying for club soccer right now anyway (the cost of the kit is about 10% of the cost of tuition at most clubs).

Since most clubs are giving back pennies on the dollar from our missed spring season, and now they want deposits for fall... the clubs should pay for our kids uniforms this year. That gesture would be meaningful to families.

who is paying for the uniforms? The clubs or the parents? Give parents a break.
Be the change you want to see club soccer. For once put these families first.
