I’m sure the news isn’t going to touch anything that’s dealing with suburban soccer moms complaining about a refund from the soccer club that you had the means to spend thousands of dollars on. Probably not the best time now.

Club was done when they handed the reigns over to MH. He was a yes man from the start who had a region gifted to him by PB. AP was the sole driving force behind the club behind as big as it was, he was a dictator who not 1 person liked but his methods worked. Why do you think no long term staff went to surf with him? MH is living off the reputation that AP kindly gifted him. When AP stepped away from the day to day running, driving numbers, club declined rapidly. Standards dropped, quality dropped and the only reason numbers continued to rise was because they were branching off into other small little regions/Nsl pick ups and added them in to make them look like they had extra players. Most regions have declined in size for the last 3 years. Though hiring all visa based staff did not help that, ask any family over the last 10 years what’s been their biggest complaint... Turnover of staff. That model is done too. JB knows now that model is not sustainable and I’m sure there will be no immigration worries for the surf. They are assembling a strong, us based core, who will rival any club in terms of quality of knowledgeable staff who have proven themselves in MA time and time again.

Surf will not have more players in the first 12 months but they are here to stay. Mark my words. No club with MH calling the shots will prosper over a club where AP is calling the shots!!
