Tons of opportunities for players at all levels.
Congrats to TBU for making some tough personnel decisions over the last month and getting TBU positioned for success going forward. Kinda of sad to see some long term "friends of TBU" leave but all of their replacements will better position TBU for success at the higher leagues. Overall a major upgrade for the soccer landscape in the Tampa Bay Region.

It is especially impressive that TBU doesn't feel the need to post 5 times on TS every time they make a personal change. TBU is quietly going about reloading their leadership and coaches to achieve an even higher level of success.

I believe you are a tbu staffer. So listen carefully. You can go get God almighty to join tbu and that would not help. Tbu has a problem 1. Can't train player. 2. Can't keep player. 3. The tbu staff is set in thier way. Soccer has evolved. Training the kids the way the coaches learn how to play will not work.

Since the good ole boy coaching club has left for FP, how does TBU have a problem?

Seems like FP will have this problem now... 1. Can't train player. 2. Can't keep player. 3. The tbu staff is set in thier way. Soccer has evolved. Training the kids the way the coaches learn how to play will not work.

I am excited to see some changes on the coaching hires at TBU and I hope the club is making the right changes for the short and long term, especially at Ed Radice - but it needs to go deeper than hiring those with coaching experience and ability to develop.

Hopefully some of the old school hires from the old regime have been identified to be weeded out for engaging in practices/behavior related to using their coaching position to retain players for their own self-interests that go well beyond what benefits the club in the long term.

It is the club's team - not the coaches team - and the club needs to weed out the mommy/daddy coaches who for years have abused their control to give the impression of having high retention (their "group" of friends and their friend's kids) as a basis to mask their track-record in development and competition - which is the best indicator of their true inability to coach, but more importantly, reflects poorly for the club in the standings.

These few coaches are nothing more than Rec coaches using Rec practices at a club that TBU should be above allowing to happen, but unfortunately some have gotten away with under the old regime for a long time.

All those problems were just hired by Florida Premier.

              AL re-loaded TBU for success.

Novi Musk just stated that we dont believe in Open Enrollment..I like the little kitty jabs at TBU and the surrounding countys. Hey FL Prem how do you feel now that billy and missy got put on the 2nd team and 3rd team and want that deposit within 48hrs? I guess you guys thought it was a great idea for the self evaluation this past weekend. Do you feel sour now because reality just smacked you in the face that you got sent to no mans land. How many will stay and work their way up? You know that old saying once a B or C player will always be. If your kid got relegated to the lower teams you already know that is probably a death sentence. The older they get it will even be more difficult because if your own club doesnt see their potential and kept them on a top team then your done. One thing is to float around on teams at an early age but once you get to true travel competitive teams for the most part those teams stay together going forward. On the norm there will only be 3-4 spots every year that are up for grabs and most of those will be filled by players from outside the club or out of state discovery players. Most of you dont know about that because you have never been in top leagues. Go ask Novi Musk for additional information Im sure he can enlighten you. Carry on.....

You will see a lot of those Mommy/Daddy coaches leave for FP now that their buddy George Fotopoulos is now the new DOC at Collier.

Unfortunately he is still on the list at Ed Radice, as well as others.

CD needs to do some extensive research on the rosters and going back multiple years to sort it all out. Nothing hurt what TBU is trying to do now more about this than not having open tryouts with their own players so CD and other directors can have other players to compare to the ones whose coaches been hanging under the radar at TBU for years in the wrong leagues.

No, Fl Premier only took the sugar from the moldy cake. Mommy/Daddy coaches still at Ed Radice.

We are taking our kids to TBU because my daughter has never won anything at FL Premier in the last 4 years of competitive soccer. Never got to semi in State Cup or even in a state wide tournament. We did pretty good in our local 3rd team tournaments but not even the grounds people are there looking at my daughter play. I hope that with all the new coaching hires that it will help the grass roots players because any player that is at U14 or older the ship has sailed. Thanks Thunder...
