Perhaps that was a reason for these kids. Many are inner city and/or from no-so wealthy Wellesley snobs. That said, the coach is great and demands hard work. The kids are behaved and also given an opportunity to get a decent education at a college. I don't know any job market that differentiates future employees based on whether or not they attended a D1 or D3 school

Where do you see the "D1 level players"? is that what you mean? The roster is made up of all public high school players from Mass and Rhode Island with a smatter of International players from Brazil. God knows where the hell they played over there, for all we know on a public beach. Not one player has played Academy level soccer in their youth, at any point. Don't quite get what you mean. Not exactly the cream of the crop soccer talent there.

D3 players do not end up in the MLS Superdraft, that's for damn sure. Adult co-ed rec leagues is where they end up.

Umass Boston has two ex academy players. Check out Dean College for the place that ex Revs Academy players are landing at. Look at the scores of Dean College - average win is 8 goals. They should play Umass Boston = Revs vs Bolts.

How bad of a student do you have to be to have played dap but end up at Dean or UMass Boston?

Pretty bad, or could have been cut after one season from an Academy team.

It is called scouting . The Dean coach is a Revs RDS coach . I am sure his plan is to move up to D2. Dean was a junior college and now full college .Just like Bryant moved to D1 and Lowell same thing at Dean . The players are not bad student. If you look at the names of the better players they are Spanish or Portuguese. The coach is Portuguese and they fit his style.

All players were significant time on DAP teams. These players are VERY good players.

Let's see how far they get in the D3 tournament this season.

Dean College is moving from NJCAA to NCAA D3.

True. The two UMass Boston players were headed to Northeastern, and one of the players had done USYNT duty. At least one of the Dean players was a "can't miss" D1 prospect.

                                its simple
They could play D1 easily but its the student thing that's a problem not their soccer ability
