We are talking about a virus that has infected .002% of our state population and killed .0001%. Its time to allow kids sports to come back. More people in our state have died of fentanyl overdoses since march than the virus but the media isnt covering that one bit. All our families have a higher chance of dying in a car accident on the way to soccer than from the virus. It's super simple, if you are not comfortable allowing your kid to play then keep them home.

It's hard to take you seriously when you don't know basic math.
.002% of an 8 million population would be 160 infected people in the state of WA and .0001% of 8 million is 8 deaths. Pretty sure your numbers are a little off. Maybe go back to grade school and review percents.

They didn't immediately open everything with tons of people out in the streets and businesses busy right from day one. That still hasn't happened yet, many people are still at home. And we know the virus takes at least 2 weeks to show up in testing. So let's see what happens in a few weeks.

well you weren't clear but if you're talking death counts then 3 weeks definitely isn't enough time. COVID incubation time is up to 2 weeks and then the course of the disease can be another 2-3 weeks. so if someone got coronavirus on the first day of the opening, it could be 4-5 weeks later until they died and showed up in a count.

I know reddit, breitbart, and cnn "facts" are alluring, easily digestible, and spewable to support your cavalier position, but please rethink before posting here. Using statistics and numbers without knowing the facts about COVID-19 are irresponsible and dangerous. We are three months in and we still do not know the basics of this weird RNA virus.

Go back to posting memes on Facebook. That's your intellectual ceiling.
