Good point, rather then proactively trying to come up with a way to implement a plan to operate in accordance with the guidelines the state has already issued, it makes more sense to suggest the totally non-Karen approach of urging members to call their state legislator and county official to ask the manager for more specific guidance on a soccer-specific policy, which seems to be somewhere done the list after ATV’s, go karts, and paddleboards.

Are there any youth teams (soccer or otherwise) currently doing sanctioned training in King County?

I know some of the girls highschool teams are training already. They are breaking down training sessions to offense and defense and keeper training groups. Captain lead sessions.

Captain led vs. coach led means they aren’t “official.” Good gosh, you are beyond reason.

Both of my kids are at an ECNL club (boy and girl) and one my daughter is starting up on Tuesday.

That's ridiculous. Captains are official representatives of the club. They're official by definition. That's what the armband is for.

Do the Captains get a staff card? They aren’t official representatives of the club. You are reaching. Sessions are captain led because staff led training isn’t permissible.

Stop being obtuse. A captain is a club representative. Hand picked by the coach or the team, to REPRESENT the team. Hence, represent the club. What the captain does, the captain does in that representative capacity. What is so hard to understand about that?

They get an ARMBAND, so that no one has to check their identification. This is simple stuff. Come on.

It’s very clear that you have no idea how this actually works...

An “official” club representative? Do they have a staff card? Background check? Does their player card at least say “Captain”?

Oh...they get an armband, so I guess that’s “official.” Stop calling others obtuse, your argument is completely unhinged.
