        Stars NH - $1700 spring tuition. 25% refund = $425. 1700-425 = 1275.
        So I paid $1275 for 8 1hr indoor practices and 0 games/tournaments. 1275/8= $160 per pratice. Makes sense.

        Thanks Stars!

How long are the practices? 60 minutes?

          $160/hr is hooker money

The donate back option is to donate it into the Stars needs based financial aid program.

Yah, I'm sure JD won't touch it.

Don't forget that if you were new to the club, you also had to purchase a uniform kit that will probably never be used since they are at the end of the uniform cycle...

Where is the club cost? Knowing TK he didn't pay any league or tournament fees yet. No field expense. Still paying the coaches? Hmmmm. Sounds like BS to me!

So what have other clubs offered? The latest rumors are NEP & ECNL starting in June and extending into the summer. Most clubs are waiting to see if there is any spring soccer, if there is you will get nothing back. Offering 40% credit or 25% refund and possibly playing some spring soccer is better than most will see.

At least 2 "town travel" clubs I know have offered 100% refunds.

Town travel programs typically don’t pay coaches—they are volunteer organizations. Not the same thing.

Not the same thing, of course. One set of organizations provide competitive travel soccer. The other set provides competitive travel soccer for 10x the price and enriches their shareholders and directors.

And often, the "town travel" team and coaching is better than the for-profit clubs (especially when compared against 3rd and 4th tiered teams).

This is where many of the super clubs get found out - showing that the almighty dollar is more important than their players or their families.

In what other industry would this fly? "Hey so we couldn't deliver on what we sold you, but we have staff and bills to pay so... no refund."

It's fraudulent behavior. If they can't afford to refund people, then declare bankruptcy. You operate like a business when times are good, you should damn well operate like a business when times are bad.

Don't forget about no referee costs
