Filing of match reports is, I believe, a referee responsibility.

Do the DA refs get paid more to input all the match data? Nice detailed match reports, other than some teams are missing players positions. That must be the club's responsibility though.

You have a very boring obsession with the GDA, and the Thorns. Maybe thiis negative energy could be put to better use elsewhere.

Not the original poster but probably similar to the negative energy spent bashing TA teams, ECNL, GPS, on and on. Have you tried shutting others down? Or just those that question Thorns. Parents potentially considering Thorns might seem obsessive questioning things. Do you have a oroblem with that? Again, I'm not the original poster. Sounds like a cult trying to shut down logical questions.

Thorns was more if you opted into surf this year. Closer to $3500. But still cheaper than ECNL. Not great but cheap.

No that's just cheapER. It's not CHEAP. And for the average middle to upper income soccer family probably not a big enough savings to drive a decision. With college the end game families decide based on fit, not price.

I'm complimenting, not bashing. Doesn't Ecnl do detailed match reports also? This is a nice service and would be good for OYSA Premier also. That's why I'm wondering if there is any cost or if the refs just do it?

Time will tell but I sure hope that we continue to have various options. Cost is an important factor.

thorns is about $1800 cheaper than ECNL and that's not a small amount of money.

But Ecnl is failing in Oregon. So regardless of the price, it's still a waste. Built more on lies and propaganda then facts.

The whole point of thorns academy is to be the cheap option. They obviously aren't the same quality as other options.

Quality club soccer for girls in Oregon? seriously are you kidding.

Since your not armed with a global picture of our club landscape you miss the reality that there is actually no quality option for girls in Oregon club soccer, but please continue to take swipes at the NWSL Thorns, USDA subsidized girls program in town.

Obviously you are clueless and bitter. Take heed, You are not alone.

Oregon yes. In other areas it's still going strong. Time will tell if it can hold on. 1800$ isn't chump change but most soccer families are willing to pay for what they th ink is the best situation for their child. It's not the key driver, it's the training or competition or ability or inability to play high school. Each player had their own reasons for picking one or the other and the the options they have in each area will vary.

You can make fun of the thorns all you want but it's $1800 per year cheaper than ECNL. That's a lot of money for most families.

1800 a year alone is a waste of money. Ecnl played by Oregon clubs is a crock of crap and judging by development, the teams are getting screwed.
