The US Men's national team approaches games with the intent to bore their opponent into submission.

Not much to brag about when the entire club went winless for the weekend.

                            I'm laughing...

Oregon regardless of what league any teams are playing in only puts out one competitive Girls team that can compete well regionally once every 2 or so years and maybe 25% of them actually consolidate majority of top 18 players.

The DA isn't anything new. It's just the same coaches coaching the same kids but with a different schedule. This is no different then teams playing in the Ecnl league. Nearly all are struggling and it's failing on several age groups.

The thorns probably lost pretty handily but it's no different then anyone else. But don't expect them to really deliver on the pathway to the pros nonsense. They have the added benefit of support by the pro team but what they don't have is time. It's extremely expensive doing the way they are doing. I commend them for it. but they won't see the return like you would on the boys side.

Ecnl clubs are using the same logic that is used against them when attacking the thorns supporters. But now they have to be more accountable as both were making questionable decisions when it comes to doing the best thing for their players. GPS, Eastside, Salmon Creek, and Washt have regional level teams that are best in age group or top2. Eastside is still finding its way back to decent teams at every age group but with a 10.5 million dollar facility will change things for th the club while competitors in the west are fighting for, struggling to pay, or having to share fields to train on.

                            Pred:

Thorns bring a solidified contender for top girls program. Fc Portland and Crossfire continue to try to remain aloat in Ecnl while other clubs continue to progress faster. Thorns may not be around if things don't go well for the women's game, might want to consider trying it, otherwise go to where the coach that would help your kid the most and beware of programs that say flying and losing every game is good development.
