Boca United wasn't even being spoke about on this site for god knows how long and all of sudden they get a DA and here comes all of these posts. Just let time tell the story. Of course people will bring their kids to BU because they have a DA now because logistics will play a huge part of it. The important question should be now that there are DA club will they make anything out of it? Time will tell the truth.

I agree. I hope they can do something good. There are very good players in this area that need to be exposed to better standards of coaching and level of play. The better players will go to BU, lets see if they can do a good job at keeping them and making them better players. Time will tell.

There is not much of an attraction to go over to DA for Boca United in U/15 - U/16 or U17 - U18 if in Palm Beach or North Broward. Boca United had no U-17 team this season, U-16's will probably be eliminated in first round of state cup. U-15's are not even entered in state cup. Where will these strong players come from since they are not currently in the club?

The Boca United team playing U16 state cup is essentially a U15 team playing up. That team just won the IMG Showcase and as a U15 team playing up into the U16 bracket at the Academy Showcase this past December showed very well.

At this point it doesn't even matter if they go through to Rd 2 on State Cup. If they're getting the DA they'll be playing in another league and other competition...

The big question will be what talent comes over. Many of the top players left for all DA's like Weston and Kendall. The big question now is will they come back or will they stay with their current clubs?

The big question is to check all the "recruits" from the last 3-4 years at the top soccer colleges and 99% are kids who come through a DA system. You can argue or bash the DA structure but its where the college coaches attend and recruit from...some DA's are naturally better than others but you need to be in the system to be recognized.
It will take Boca some time to build an environment that Weston and OC built quite quickly because of the large number of kids they had in the program before they became an academy.
