When there's only one player from the NE yes it another day point that the NE isn't very good. There's 10 just from CA.

Better clubs + better coaching + better competition + year round training + stronger soccer culture. Top D1 programs show the same leaning to west coast, CO, TX, FL. This area has some standout players but for an area this large it's proportionately small. It certainly doesn't measure up to the amount of angst, energy and money spent either ;)

Don't argue at all. I would argue many gda players (and ecnl players) are just pawns in a game about money and power. All these players need to have eyes wide open and see what this is.

That's exactly what others have said - CA has top players because the environment, clubs competition etc is better. Few from this area make NT's or top D1 programs
