Clubs can add players during the add on period, which is practically the entire season (I think up until April). Many clubs add HS players after their seasons are over, OW included (although they tend to only add prep school kids).

Any way, college commit lists should never be the focus when determining what is the best place for a player. Always keep in mind that DA is not a necessity to get recruited either. Find the best coaching and fit for your player.

Yet NYCFC finished higher against the same competition for the year. The fact that OW finished decently in GDA just proves how poor the region is. Same players, no new quality talent, same new coaches, but they finish in the top third? Probably why they didn't win one game at nationals; a few real beatdowns there.
