look yourself - https://www.edpsoccer.com/fallbrackets. Probably none. It would be more appropriate for the few remaining CJSA teams to be in in CCSL.

It looks like everyone has left CJSA. Most teams were leaving for CCSL (US Club). Now it looks like some of those are joining the newly formed CT League run through EDP (now partnered with USYS). The problem is that you have clubs in two separate and competing leagues which creates less competition and more dilution. CT, can we all get on the same page.

CJSA and EDP have been co-branding the state EDP league as an alternative option to CCSL.

I thought FSA played in the EDP? I don’t see them anywhere in the Fall brackets.

For girls yes. They used to have their top boys teams in EDP but moved them to ECNL last year. Website shows NPL as well, but doesn't say which NPL. Then there's also CCSL.

The clubs also rely on misdirection and obfuscation. No way to compare clubs and all claim to represent the best (but they are all mediocre). Unless DAP on boys and ECNL on girls just assume your club is average at best.

Even then there's no guarantee of quality both at the team level or player level.

EDP Approved as Affiliate Member of US Youth Soccer

FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 7, 2018) — US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in the country and the leader in youth soccer, is proud to announce that EDP, one of the country’s largest leagues with more than 4,000 teams located on the east coast of the United States, has been approved as an affiliate member by the US Youth Soccer Board of Directors.

Beginning in the fall of 2018, all EDP league play, tournaments and college showcases will be US Youth Soccer sanctioned events. Additionally, EDP has been retained to manage US Youth Soccer National League Conferences in the East Region — New England EDP, North Atlantic EDP, Mid Atlantic EDP and South Atlantic EDP.

US Youth Soccer’s commitment to reimagining its family of leagues while establishing a clear alignment with the prestigious National League and National Championship Series, in addition to U.S. Soccer standards, has precipitated this move for EDP.

“EDP could not be more excited for the opportunity to be part of the US Youth Soccer family and fully-embraces the ability to further improve the overall youth soccer landscape in this country hand-in-hand with US Youth Soccer, beginning with the fall of 2018,” EDP CEO Alan Shilling said. “I am confident that the players will be the beneficiaries of this new relationship as EDP joins the outstanding family of US Youth Soccer sanctioned leagues.”

As an affiliate member of the organization, EDP is now a voting member of the National Council of US Youth Soccer.

“This latest development, with EDP joining US Youth Soccer as an affiliate member, only further highlights our commitment to supporting and serving our membership while also serving the athletes,” US Youth Soccer CEO Chris Moore said. “US Youth Soccer is the leader in youth soccer, and EDP will now further our ability to continue driving the beautiful game of soccer forward.”

As part of this new affiliation with US Youth Soccer, the EDP leadership will be working closely with the US Youth Soccer East Region General Manager, Dr. Greg Smith.

“Many positive improvements are being made within US Youth Soccer at this time and I could not be more excited to have an opportunity to further grow, enhance and improve the youth soccer landscape in this country for the millions of kids who play each year through the work that is currently being done and the work that is yet to come,” Dr. Greg Smith said.

Why do you let DAP (OW and BS) or ECNL (FSA) off of the hook for quality? They aren't any different and rely even more heavily on misdirection and obfuscation to keep their illusion of superiority alive ..... you bought in on it.

not the poster....when my oldest started premier 8 years ago OW, FSA and BS were still in CJSA. All the clubs were, even if just for state cup than anything else. All gone now. Same with many other good clubs he played for or against back then. The clubs didn't want to lose to each other and started looking more broadly; the parents wanted more "elite" competition so they topped off their easy passes and hit the road.
