Starting a thread devoted futsal.
Some observations on first week:
1. Coordination with cups (founders/president) and fall league has been nice; way fewer conflicts and reschedules than we have dealt with in the past.
2. Divisions are deeper than in the old days (separate Portland Futsal/Rose City Leagues).
3. Some of the refs don't know the rules. The back pass rules they are applying in youth is getting missed left and right. In one game refs didn't know heading was allowed at that age. Stop clock in last 3 minutes isn't being applied.
4. Player card thing was confusing for many teams initially, but they were flexible (many refs allowed regular OYSA cards to be used).
