Did Abbey Villa actually merge with Liverpool? Why are Abbey Villa still operating under the "Abbey Villa" name? I keep getting poorly written emails from "Abbey Villa" about their tournament and camps. Very confusing!!!

It’s basically a 1 year grace period before the full name change happens. It’s the same thing with other clubs. Sea coast United Mass City for example. Within a year it’ll just be seacoast United. It’s dumb and pointless but it’s for those who aren’t educated about clubs and wonder why a club just disappeared or only think a club is in on area.

my kid went to play an abbey villa/liverpool team this past weekend AT THEIR PLACE and they showed up with 5 kids for a 9v9 game! We leant them two players just to have a game!
