Sadly for some of them, they don't know it yet as it hasn't been announced due to the year end tournament. It will be a big surprise to some parents and players when they find out they are not on the team any more.
    They already made the cuts.

Most likely will expect you to be a bench player or drop to B team. Rare circumstances that they will give you your money back.

You can get your release from the club but the money is not coming back to you.

You should call your DOC and ask them if you can have your money back.

Yes you can.... just file a 7-I9 form and file it with your club.

No, it's $60,000 a year. Just ask any coach with a Timbers patch. On top of that, you will need to factor in the cost of the rest of your family to go to away matches. Don't forget to budget for aunt Martha and your second cousin Sarah, you don't want to be a jerk and leave them at home.

At $5,000 a month it's not worth it. Clearly the ECNL teams are the worst teams in Oregon at their respective age groups because the talented players can't afford it. It's much cheaper to stay and have your dd play on a local club team. In the PDX area I would suggest PCU or Eastside both pretty similar. East of the mountains, try Bend. South look to RVT. Those clubs routinely each send 10 to 20 girls off to play in college each year, cost less and will occasionally play in FWRL where they dominate.

ECNL tryouts are over anyway. But since you were remotely interested (obvious since you know about talking soccer and pulled up a fake month old thread, but can't go to a clubs website to see the costs) I would suggest you stay away from ECNL. Just keep gaining weight, practice yelling at the refs and kids and keep maintaining the goatee and mullet. You know where you belong. Enjoy it while you can, is a few short years, your dd will be out of high school and you won't have a reason to come on to T/S anymore. You will have to entertain yourself by waving your foam finger around as you kick dogs for entertainment or you can just grow the 'eff up.

No. Parent travel is not part of the equation.

So $25K without parent travel. Wow.

What is the 7-I9 form? Or are you just being smart?
