US Soccer let WFF know it is curtains for next year, so instead of facing the music like a real director, he tells US Soccer you dropped us, you come tell the parents, I am not doing it.
Agree the opening post is a bit of comic gold. GDA wont' change until they have to. They'll keep on struggling for next year then announce a "new and improved" league this time next year. They're not waiving the white flag quite yet. They still think it's working lol
3 very important words: "Restructuring and consolidating". The word 'consolidating' being the most important for anyone reading between the lines. Looks for sure like YY is making US Club soccer take the heat - he will probably be hiding on the fields with players at the ID clinic for his future elite program
US Soccer is not going to waste resources and send Morgan Church to WFF for the sole purpose to take away GDA. She is responsible for club development. If US Soccer was going to pull GDA, they could send an email and call it a day.
YY--- You are a punk coward. You knew this weeks back. You're too cowardly to tell people to their face, so you make some DA representative take the punch for you. I'm sure you'll conveniently act like you had no idea when Morgan reveals to audience tonight. I'll be watching to see your expression, you mf'r. If this program folds, you need to resign and fold with it.
Who's the punk coward calling yy a punk coward and mf'r on an anonymous post. I would love to see you say it in his face. I'll be waiting and watching.

WFF partners with IMG to add players for u14 team and replaces BR, and also sends some top players as PT players for IMG older teams for depth.

Sounds great but why would top players care to be PT players. Might as well go to TBU. No financial benefit for IMG to take on older non tuition paying players either. IMG has limits on the amount of players they can have because of their outrageous tutition. Will they be willing allow older players come in and play DA if they're not students there. I don't think those playing big money for their kid to play in any sport over there would care too much for that. How would a school with a limited player pool be marketable for the DA.

Probably won't happen for that reason, however IMG has a couple thin rosters, and certainly could use some bench players at certain age groups, especially with the new u16 age group starting.
Rich parents are not just paying for the DA patch, they are paying for the entire IMG development package and that's not changing. Lot more than just games on the weekend.

One age group is thin because of injury the rest isn't nonsense IMG has roster of 17-18 players per team.

IMG is probably opening doors as indicated above because US Soccer asked them to. It keeps top players in the DA, and allows WFF to say they are DA becuse they have the affiliation with IMG. It really is no skin off IMGs nose to go along with this game and solidfies their relationship with US Soccer. All of WFF teams will continue to be pre-DA and will overcharge players and parents for playing NPL
