    Is FESA shutting down?

Have not announced tryouts even after Armada announced May 1. Coaches leaving in droves. Will they become part of Armada? Then I guess Armada will have GDA then also. Everybody wins. Sad to see the volt fade away.

Well. They are not for profit that still has IRS filing obligations. Perhaps the long overdue IRS audit will do the trick and expose the funny money and business run by shadowy Board that apparently elects itself in perpetuity.

Or maybe the county is reconsidering letting them use and abuse Veterans Park for pennies on the dollar with taxpayer subsidized when the glorified leader coach is pulling down up to 140K salary plus tens of thousands more in add-ons in this charade? Though you might expect some FESA money is ending up in some Commissioners campaign coffers or other dealings.

Confused? How much are the execs making at Armada and Clay?

Execs? Is that what we call glorified youth soccer coaches nowadays? If that is the case, the more, the merrier. Not for profit be damned!

Not from FESA but played there last weekend. On Sunday, we were very impressed with what a vibrant facility there is at Veteran's fields. All kinds of games going on with all different skill levels and age groups. Private training sessions going on. Families on the jungle gyms. Several of our parents commented that it seemed like the Veterans facility was outstanding. Hard to picture this whole thing folding?

Perception and reality are two completely different things.

Not from FESA usually means from FESA. Nice little promotional piece.

Ummm, there were very few games going on Sunday. ECNL was on #1 and #2 and some rec games on #3, the rest of the complex was empty.

FESA is not shutting down it is rebranding itself as FECES so it will fit in better with OCYS its merger partner.

The new kits will be mustard brown rather than volt. That will be an upgrade.

Unsure how FESA could shut down as big as it is.

The only true value FESA has is its lock on field space at Veterans and other primary locations. If FESA were gone today, some other club (likely Armada) would quickly step in tomorrow and the sun would rise and shine and the putrid Volt color flushed where it belongs. Tallahassee and Palm Coast would just take their clubs back like before and better off for it.
