Not sure what this thread is about. Is this news that Stars has levels and competes in different leagues? Don’t most big clubs do the same?

Many teams and players in GDA were in NPL; same as with any other league. Doesn't mean the leagues and training is the same....just like with any other league.

Carefuly, your jealousy is showing again.
Nailed it! We're all wicked jealous that you took the bait that your kid is super awesome and super duper special and needs GDA!

You know that pretty much anyone can get their kid in GDA (especially if they're willing to go to Seacoast where the bar is so low that they're tripping over it), right? There's literally nothing to be jealous of as it's pretty much open to anyone willing to pay at this point.

      Careful, your foolishness is showing!

So concerned about GDA, you keep bringing it up in a Stars thread.

        Why?

          Why?
Because the post that started this thread is wrong. The poster forgot that DA was supposed to be Stars first team followed by ECNL and NPL. Then when Stars left DA, they had two ECNL teams and one NPL team. There were 3 teams all along, just in different leagues.

The rest of the stuff about shuffling teams between NPL and ECNL regional teams is all just guesses at this point since nothing has been announced. With all the regional teams Stars has, they have the depth to field teams in whatever leagues lower than ECNL or NE NPL they decide to participate in.

Do they? U15 and U16 seem like if they had one team they'd be better served (except for their bottom line)

If my daughter doesn’t make ECNL, we are leaving stars and playing local. Makes no sense to play in any of the alphabet soup leagues and travel long distances for likely no better competition you would find in top NEP. Parents are dumb and will drink the kool aid

Wait, I thought GDA was NE NPL with a new name?

I would go a step further and make sure that she is a projected starter in top 7 .... or go play elsewhere (if not top 7, certainly no lower than 12 or 13).

Not hard to figure out who that is on my D’s team.

Which ECNL? There's a bucket-load of them now.

The top one, the only one that matters.

Why are playing 7v7 in ECNL now? This makes about as much sense as saying if she isn’t #1 you should leave. Can she beat teams singlehandly? If not, your d is a failure - totally nuts!

The only thing that is nuts is you.
