      QYS Families:

In an effort to continue our QYS program growth, we are happy to announce a new opportunity for Quincy youth players to be challenged at their own highest levels of soccer!

We are please to announce another tier to our program, a Club level/ Advanced placement division. We have affiliated ourselves with Bayside FC, to form a Quincy Bayside FC Team. This will allow our advanced teams to compete in the top premiere divisions in the state NEP. The NEP only allows a 20 team membership. There are multiple divisions within the NEP with the ultimate goal to get to the National Cup. For more information on the NEP league please visit: https://www.newenglandpremiership.com/faqs.html

The club level is a highly competitive program for those athletes looking to be challenged technically, tactically and physically. These teams require a higher level of commitment. We will find suitable divisions to challenge our teams in a skill appropriate environment. These team will be Revs coached and have fall, spring and winter training or league play. We have affiliated with Bayside FC to develop a program based in Quincy at a cost that is half the price of traditional Club teams. For our inaugural season we are looking to place teams based on the following birth years:
      Boys 2006 Boys 2009/2010 Girls 2006/2007 Girls 2008/2009
If you have an interest in participating on one of these team or if you have questions regarding this new program, you will need to contact Tom Scott @ vptravel@quincyyouthsoccer.com by Friday June 7. Tryouts for the Boys 2009/2010 teams and the girls 2008/2009 team will occur during traditional fall travel tryouts the week of June 10th.

Sweatpant & Wifebeater Tshirt Guidos on steroids yelling at the ref in a U11 Final how bad he sucked, eventually escalating to swearing and constant name calling. Nobody tried to stop it. Coach of the team did nothing. It was embarrassing.
This is a racist post...how do you know their names are Guido?

This whole thread is racist. Bayside is just of a culture these people don’t understand. It’s called “passion” for the game and it is beautiful.

It’s only passion if you understand the game, which most soccer parents including Bayside don’t. If you think screaming nonsense at other adults (coaches, refs) while children play a child’s level of soccer, then you really don’t have an appreciation for soccer or acting like a parent around children.

Because they are the only ones who pay coaches so little that they can offer pro coaching at half the price of other clubs. Quincy will get what it pays for.

NEP has all sorts of teams at all levels and divisions already. Are you worried that your team might have to play these teams? Perhaps your team won’t look so good playing against new competition ?

Classic "results first" mindset. Worried about winning? The problem with playing crappy "just win" teams (like Bayside) at the younger, developmental ages, is that it becomes bootball, bodyball, bloodball. Coaches get the players riled up, parents join in, players respond, and gawd-awful soccer ensues. Its great sport--passion?--and fair game once the kids can shave, but before then? Bayside is the hallmark of whats wrong with kid's soccer.

Sounds like you just have Bayside envy. Who are you to judge another soccer club, and its worthiness of entering the massive NEP league?

Been watching these guys a long time. As I said, love the physical play once the kids have a little maturity. Before then its just whipped up frenzy from some coaches and parents who collectively haven't a clue.
