Well. One thing true for Clay is that if you don't make or want to make GDA team, the B team option is pretty bad so it would be logical a few would straggle over to the next closest option at Veteran and hope they make A or B team there. Otherwise, they will stick with B team at Clay.

FESA is really good at talent ID of rec players to be selected at tryouts for the D team. And if they keep their noses clean, FESA stickers on cars, volunteering to work for the club, and soccerathon donations flowing, they have a chance to make the B team in a few years.

Are some of the older reds, Clay camp tryoutees coming from Pickett's St. Johns school girls flipping from GDA to his ECNL teams?

Wow! FESA finally posted its tryout dates, and they did it the same time as Armada.!!!!!

FESA is scared! Wonder how many ECNL boys and girls will be kicked off when Bubb and Mail find out players are at Armada tryouts.

FAQs, not that you have zero time to think about the offer.

Well done EBolo you are destroying our club.
Parents have no clue what is going on. All those promises when they removed ED. What happened where are those promises now Board of Directors.

Armada is a joke with zero direction and zero leadership.

Sure assbutter, Armada is a joke but FESA waited to put out their (can it really be called tryouts) schedule after Armada published their tryout for May 1st and 2nd...seems to me manufactured to disadvantage club hoppers whom wish to leave the greatest club in NE Florida...intent reveals everything you need to know about your club and what it thinks about it's membership...clearly not a decision any board member/parent would endorse, but instead a business decision to trap and discourage parents to shop around for the best opportunity for their child. Remember, it's all about the kids...bunch of sycophantic loosers if you think this is good for the FESA families...make your decision carefully.

US Youth Soccer FYSA leagues say tryouts can begin May 1st. Easier to begin all league team tryouts on the same date.

Why would you wait until tryouts to check out another club? This goes for players/families looking to leave FESA or Armada. Shouldn't you have contacted a coach at the other club at some point in April or earlier so you could check out a practice at least or had your kid play with them. Not looking to move at all but waiting to just jump to another club on tryout night doesn't seem very smart or make any practical sense to me.

You know FESA will have additional dates in mid May and even into early June. I'd go to Armada, see what they offer and if you don't like it, show up to one of the additional dates that you know will be coming.

Gotta fill the D, E, F teams and give the bottom feeder coaches the teams they were promised before tryouts started.

is it common practice to ask for money and a decision at tryouts? we have been to tryouts at a handful of different clubs in central and north florida and FESA was the only place we encountered it.

Is it common practice for a club like FESA to make most of its first and second team offers the first evening of tryouts? Some clubs have a week of tryouts and then start making offers. Go with the sure thing or the wait of a week to know. At least the FESA players know where they stand right away in case they need to venture out for another team. Bet more clubs start doing it the way FESA does it.
