Day three today for more players to come. Two days very good numbers across all age groups.

I saw good quality out there. (At least for my son's group).

The tryouts have consisted of scrimmages. Coaches have given everyone playing time in the scrimmages.

Tryouts have consisted primarily of 20 or so returning players plus about a dozen new players from various clubs trying out. Obviously, much smaller compared to Weston where you have 400 kids trying out and 3 coaches pretending to evaluate them all.

Miramar's tryouts so far have been well organized and well run.

Maybe ill wait for the 400 to show up and hope one of the coaches not busy talking to each other per age group and pretending they are looking. Tired of Weston mass try out and no opportunity to be seen. Players black and below will be pushed more down, But parents love that magnet and shield.

and positioning and movement off and on the ball. More things to see for a regular tryout like wonderful Weston, Throw 100 kids to scrimmage at the time, while coaches just on their phones and not paying attention to any. Can't wait to Weston tryouts, i am all in.

You're right. They should've ran "drills". What an absolute moron you are.

PLEASE stay away. You keep coming on here to check out the thread.

Miramar's tryouts have been conditioning, drills, and a half field scrimmage followed by some goalkeeper work with players taking shot. Far more involved than Weston's cattle call tryouts where you have a dozen half field scrimmages and coaches standing around kicking the grass and swinging their whistles.

SPOILER ALERT: They already have their teams picked!

Agree, selections being made as they speak as we are a parent. Not telling you we need you to give money now, etc and come to all try outs. Two more than enough for new players, than making offers, the right way to do business and see if yes or no. Not as the rest "You have to come all tryouts to be guaranteed a spot".

Old school soccer back to its days.
