Top 25 teams in the country creating own league

Region based league collaborated by top 25 clubs in the country. Ecnl, DA, US Youth are all competing for the same clubs but claiming all the credit. While creating a mess of the soccer system.

Spurred by califnorna clubs which comprise typically the top 10 clubs in the country along with major clubs in each of the different regions are always playing each other regardless of the league. The debate is for them to schedule inter regional games at hosting complexes while each region takes 3 trips throughout the year to play the other 5-8 clubs.

They can control the structure, regulations, keep costs lower without having to give money to us club or us soccer to waste.

Crossfire Washington and Seattle United are from the north while the rest are from California in the west region.

They are talking about how over burden some it is for multiple teams to compete in competing leagues while the dillusion of talent and teams in both DA Ecnl and us youth leagues make it a waste for most of these games.

Evidently it was the Texas clubs that pulled out of the DA that started this idea. I don't blame them. Leagues are being rediculous right now. It is interesting that there is a play in system for teams that win the championships of Ecnl and us youth national leagues.

Good. I could see how it is a waste to spend so much money or deal with regulations or paying money to us soccer to waste while playing some good teams and a lot of really bad ones.

      Good for them.

It's the pillars that built the US Club Soccer League (ECNL) "wasting money on travel while your rarely get to play good teams (for the 2 Oregon Clubs) and instead they get a lot of really bad ones (like them)."

US Soccer is tackling this head on with the DA.

Let the US Soccer wrecking ball swing baby!!

That’s from 2016- those are the DA clubs.

It's a list of the first 25 that's all. Has there been some movement of clubs since then?

GDA is not good so hopefully these guys figure this out and do it right.

This was debated for at least a month now. After the GDA started there was a lot of holes and poor structure with travel costs, league costs, poor level teams, and autocratic leadership. Not to mention their celebration of success off the backs of the same clubs. It's created in roads and fighting in the clubs themselves.

What was said was that if central US decides to join which includes Michigan and Chicago you will see a huge hit to all platforms.

Ecnl, DA, and US youth without the top 25 teams in the country can't exactly say they are elite anymore and the clubs get the power back.

This was bound to happen at some point. Girls soccer is a mess. DoC I know said that the way Ecnl worked was a great idea until they admitted lower level teams. The DA under the leadership of US soccer is a joke to deal with even if you might agree with the idea nevermind the awful structure they've put in place opposite of the anti pay to play idea anyway. DA also has really bad teams in it.

Clubs are spending a lot of time, manpower, resources, and losing credibility trying to hop around from one self serving league to another. This was eventually going to happen when clubs all realize they are simply chasing each other around and might as well organize easier, cheaper, efficiently, and gain much of the power back.

Or MVLA DA coming to play the thorns spending thousands to beat them 8-1.

If this league comes together which I hear it is, The girls DA will fail in a hurry. Who wants to pay money to us soccer so they can fund Burlingame DA that has a -70 goal differential.

                          Elite my ass.

So is someone going to post a link to a story about the "top 25" soccer clubs (according to whom) spurning both ECNL and GDA, to create Yet Another League, so their DDs won't have to cast their pearls before swine such as FC Portland, CU, and Thorns Academy?

The link that was posted, obviously, is about GDA, and is two years old.

Or is this more FUD from the usual suspects?

Top 25 clubs wouldn't even consider 30%+ of the clubs already in the gda and the gda structure is a mess. Will cost way less to give money to us soccer and simply fund their own match ups with like quality clubs.
