There is no difference between a for profit or a non profit aside from marketing and a "feel good promise." If OYSA, and some of you, wants to force for profits out because they are a non profit organization fine but then be willing to accept every non profit club as OYSA is not a governing body they are essentially the square app to playing soccer under the USYouth soccer. The issue is..OYSA is very very political and managed by old timers who can't see the future. All those supporting a different idea being snuffed out just because you don't agree with the club ...you are the problem in Oregon. It is very simple. Some get .... most don't due to being brainwashed by a certain group of coaches within Oregon. Why do good coaches leave Oregon to go to WA or elsewhere?

Here is one big difference. For profits maximize profits. Non profits need to make sure the revenue is greater than the cost and maximize the benefit to society.
For profits answer to an owner, OYSA non profit clubs answer to a volunteer board who have no financial interest in the success of the club, only the benefit to society.
Weird concept I know.

Lulz....man you are off base on everything. Completely missing it yet again...must be a Timbers coach.
I am not a coach....good job on make believing your reality.
Everyone stop assuming you know what your talking about or whom you're talking too....this special individual just proved they are clueless....lmao.
Thank you yet again. And you probably don't know why...sit at your computer confused while trying to protect your revenue stream.
Do not confuse me with coaches you want to discredit...that'd be foolish. You've already proven multiple times that you are..try to change.

Why does this thread feel suddenly like a bunch of trolls trying to catch each other, thinking that it's an actual fish tugging on their respective lines?

Looks like this thread can be shut now.
OYSA appears to have crumbled under the enormous pressure presented by the established clubs which you may or may not agree with.
SCA will have to find an alternative games programme for it's immediate future for fall 2019 and that as they say is that. #asyouwere

The entirety of Oregon threads should be shut down due.
Oregon has highlighted how sick their parents and coaches are.
These threads bring out the dark side of Oregon soccer. It has not changed one bit.
