Thoughts on NPL

our daughters coach just told us we will be playing U13 NPL...

new to this ( played in LIJSL before)

How much travel it is ( on LI or Tri state)

Sorry for the questions but the coach didnt know.

is it a step up from LIJSL? or the same thing just differnt?

All depends on which NPL. There are multiple versions and at this point it looks like one of those crime boards on CSI or something. You'll definitely have a lot more driving and tournaments out of state.

NE NPL is a good league. NYCSL NPL this past year was not great. Should be a step up from LIJSL but not as big as it used to be.

NE NPL looks to be decimated. Players were only "Premier" there. Now that ECNL has drawn some clubs into their grasp, players are now "Elite".

Instantly better.
