lol yeah that's going to work....

I'm not sure what the big deal is - several football conferences had already announced the same thing. If FOOTBALL is doing it of course other sports will do the same thing. It's just cancelling non conference games, not the whole season, to reduce travel

YEP, we plan to boycott! Sure, we won't send our kids to a Big East, Ivy or Patriot League school...pretty much the top schools in our nation, over soccer being canceled, because of COVID-19. YEP, that makes sense....

These cancellations are picking up steam because each conference that cancels removes games from the schedules of the other conferences (from non-conference action).

            This is picking up steam.

Spring soccer is a better time because have the fall to prepare.

The hope is that there is a vaccine by then or it has burned out. there's no certainty to that but at least hope. Many colleges have already laid the groundwork for winter sports not starting until after the holidays. most are sending students home at Thanksgiving to finish the semester at home, then return after new year's.

Another 2 conferences canceled their fall season, MAC and Big 10 cancel Fall seasons. Not looking good for club season to play out the season if these big programs are canceling their seasons. :(

Football and basketball pay for the other sports, if football gets canceled, then the other sports may end up not having any funding. Programs expect to lose close to 100 million...

College Soccer may end up a thing of the past...

I’m glad my kid took the academic route instead of the soccer route. Hopefully cancelling soccer scholarships will give her a better chance to get into an elite institution.
