    1 player - Tampa (2018)
    1 player - Holy Cross (2019)
    1 player - Colgate (2019)
    1 player - Swarthmore (2019)
    1 player - Middlebury (2019)
    1 player - Wesleyan (2019)

...and this is not a complete list by any means. So I think the "end results" are good for a lot of players.
So out of their current senior DA team they have 2 (maybe 1 according to someone here) going D1? That’s not very good odds for those kids who paid a lot and gave up Hs to play in college.

None of those programs required you to be in DA, just solid players with good grades.

I don’t agree. Harvard, Holy Cross, Colgate and UNH require high level club players. Their rosters are filled with DA players

          Huh? 3 going D1
          3 going D3

And I’m sure there’s more. This is just who I know.

Not “required” but they are looking for the best players and many of those players are in the DA

But good non DA players can attain that level as well, particularly Ivies where grades play a very different role than a typical D1.

If you look at recent Ivy recruits at least 80-90% of the US players (they recruit international players -usually 1 or 2 per year) are DA players.

Ivy does not give athletic scholarship money - so they highly recruit DA pools because they also know they need kids who can pay the Ivy tuition bill as well. Kids who can afford DA will most likely - NOT ALL - most will be able to stomach the Ivy tuition tag $$$

Many Ivy kids have gone to pricey prep school so yes money isn't an issue for many Ivy admits. On the other hand, Ivies are much more generous with need based aid than other schools, giving more middle income kids a chance to attend. For most other schools middle income families make too much for FA but not enough to afford college.

This is true, and also applies to private schools.

My niece went to St. Paul's for about 1/20th of what her sister went to UNH for, and that's in-state tuition.

The Ivies and Privates have absolutely HUGE endowments, so they will find a way to get you money if they need it, often

Ivy tuition is not a lot higher than most other top private schools.
