Isn’t this his usual excuse? Blame other people? Never take responsibility?
And alot of parents buy the excuses because they already bought that their kid will be “big time”

GPS parent trying to stir things up.
Westside 02 parent gloating (but in the process calling themselves a lower level team?)
Westside 02 coach gloating (doesn't seem like his style).

What was the ejection for? There’s always two sides to every story. Not from gps but feel they get the shaft on TS more often than not.
I do give credit for gps03 always playing up - this year going from u16 to u18. With ***c03s playing in rcl, this year is a ridiculously weak 2003 division. With more intense competition comes more emotional intensity and more red cards.

The argument is that since all the best (minus fcsc) 2003 girls teams are playing up or elsewhere, 2003 should be called “Division 1” as well. It definitely isn’t a “Premier” division. It was also pointed out that Fcsc should play up two years (with gps 03s playing in the u18 or 2001 age group) or join ***c and play in RCL. This year’s 2002 and 2003 divisions are decimated. 2002s top OYSA division is rightly called “Division 1” and the top division of 2003 should also be “Division 1” as it isn’t a Premier division based on all the B and bottom teams that are in it.

Westside 00's
RVT 00's
Eugene 00's
CFC 01's
Crossfire 01's
Vancouver 02's
Eastside 02's
Eugene 02's
GPS 03's
Salmon Creek 03's
Eugene 03's
That's a decent premier league. Younger teams may have some tough games, but I'd put Vancouver's 02's as a favorite against everyone on this list. Since it's 11 teams, you only play everyone once.
Then state cup comes along and everyone goes back to their age groups.
This would be a great solution but would require two things OYSA isn't capable of:
Backbone to be firm with clubs and make sure that this premier bracket really did represent the top 11 teams in these age groups.
Wisdom and good judgment in seeding the state cup pools once age groups come back together.

Also note that due to birth year, 2003 is freshmen and sophomores not just sophomores so it would be a true HS age group. If OYSA did this, not as many top players or teams would leave OYSA.
