Wow! Arsenal Fc Gu14 lose in quarter finals, and once again find themselves going home empty handed. Kle has had this team for a good while and has always seemed to lure the talent to his more than talented side, but yet still no big Trophy! It's a shame that with a team like this, all the talent, all the Odp/ID2 players and still nothing. Hey, I realize it's not easy winning the National cup or state cup at the youngers, but that's all this guy talks about, is putting a team together that can do that, win the big one. No one will argue that this team has the talent. So what is gone wrong? People will have to question that maybe Kle, isn't all he say's he is cracked up to be. The wors't showing yet for this team in a State or National cup since it's existence.
I mean the guy talks himself up alot and is never shy to zing you an e-mail with his "portfolio" on it. I don't think he quite gets it, who cares about you abd your yellow and red card playing day's? Parents want to see development, can you coach? can you train? when you coach do you emphasize what you train? Such a crucial time for this age group, and the SKID is right on time, as predicted. Maybe ignoring a technical and possession style of play ,while the alway's encouraged boom ball, elbow's and slide tackling of keepers, has bared no fruit's, and now the tactic less tactician will need to find another 8 recruits to solve his ignorance of youth development and the sport of "football" in general. While the the end of the race is near...PREMIER..the hare is starting to fall behind in the race. But I'm sure Mr. Kooiman will keep blasting those e-mail's to every player in coast soccer, and invite them out to his training sessions where 25 girls(18 roster with 7 guests) get to dribble in circles in a 20 by 20 yard chunk of space while he calls out the name of a few moves that he would never have used in a game and convinces the parent's that his is the best training in So Cal.Maybe it's time for a change?
