FCIAC is legit but so are other leagues in the State. Reality is Staples never wins a big game so them losing shouldn’t be a big surprise. Ridgefield on the other hand is an above average program, coach has very good resume and he normally wins. So the fact they lost is just meeting their match this year.
FCIAC is all about Ridgefield and St Joes, anyone else is a paper giantComment

It was the referees! The weather was in CCCs favor. They got the best side of the field, twice! The sun was in our keepers eyes the whole game! We had to play in mud all game and they were on turf! Not fair!Comment

Staples just doesn't have the finishers that can compete against equal or more talented teams. Their one midfielder has done the majority of the scoring in the tournaments. Where are the forwards?????Comment

Agreed. It's been 5+ years since StJ won in LL, all the rest L. Good LL team but not a top one. And Staples is in the mix even if they can't seem to ever win the shiny medals. I'm not a fan but they are in the top pack very consistently.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
