Thorns U15 has given up 25 goals in last four games. If it takes 2 minutes to pick the ball out of the net and restart, that’s close 15 minutes per game or 1/6th of the game. But maybe after thorns go down 0-3 the other teams stop celebrating goals four, five, six, seven?

No. Ecnl is functional and diluted competition actually is helpful. Before we could score a goal. Now with many top players and teams out of Ecnl, we can actually compete.

I completely forgot about that. What a great feature to offer kids a chance to start. All kids should get that opportunity. Thorns Academy is doing a good thing by allowing those kids that opportunity.

Even if I blatantly offered a coach $5,000 cash to give my daughter a spot on a team or get playing time, the only people on the planet that care are the other parents and kids on that team. As long as it was handled properly per tax law, I don't think there is a crime. Definitely not a crime an DA would take unless it was their kid that got bumped.
