That is what the parents are looking for when they travel & pay the fees, this is what the girls want when the miss some school functions for soccer.
Right now, there is not another club in the Bay Area that is putting more girls in college than TBU, both in the current year & previous years. That is simply what they are known for, at least in this area. The coaches help get the girls recruited & ECNL (just like GDA) provides the platform to be seen by college coaches.
The biggest difference between TBU & WFF is the # of signings each year. They both have high level soccer leagues for girls to play in, which provides girls the opportunities to be seen.
Why does TBU consistently put more girls in college than WFF?
Given the platform of both leagues, I can only think of one reason-the coaches at TBU really go out of their way to really sell the girls. It is part of their job description & the passion associated with coaching girls soccer at a high level.
The WFF coaches simply don't do as much to help & they have said as much in meetings.
Therefore, at the end of the day, parents have a decision to make-if you aforementioned reasons are why you are paying for ENCL & GDA, it really is TBU in a landslide. The numbers bear this out. It is not subjective, nor is it up for disagreement.
The facts are the facts.
Fact 1) a number of girls for TBU have come to TBU already committed from other clubs
2) Besides maybe, maybe an introduction, the recruiting process relies mainly on the relationship and communication of the player and the college coach, not the club coach
3) verbal commitments and truth in scholarship $ vary drastically- do your research and have your facts- how many get real money vs “ verbally committed to a school in a walk-on status, book money, and on Florida for your pre pay or other opportunities where the state of Florida pays, or to boost the team GPA- for real success stays tract who really plays in college, committed to big names schools that Clubs in All Florida boast about with “college commitments” and girls that quit or transfer cause they don’t get their club playing time helicopter parents in Florida buy and college coaches don’t give a shout aboutbecause they own your daughter when they sign and can modify their “ commitment” based on what they have to do in college- now those stays would be interesting - I am sure YBU would point to there one recent success the graduated Florida keeper- but who else???? Would Wff point to their ecnl , Gatorade player of the year from ecnl at Auburn? Sunrise/wf argue over ivory at Virginia? Wff/TBU player at NC? Wake up coaches may pass along info at introductions but your daughters have to play, produce and communicate- club coaches across Florida are scam artist- if anyone is developing its in Jacksonville GDA, overwise it’s Florida crumb sucking on development because coaches trying to make money- worse cases are the head, in terms of directors and leadership teams at WFF, TBU, FESA, Prime,Sunrise, FKK/ they know what is right and lack the moral courage to do it for the kids/ they only have their own self interest- why else do you thing Florida in terms of size and kids lags so far behind the rest of the country- Texas, California, Virginia, Michigan, Georgia, / purse strings at heart. Wake up Florida and demand what you pay for, not the slime that is at the for front of grabbing your money. The girls sell themselves- the coaches are nothing but a legal ncaa communications channel. Period.

Does anyone know if TBU U17 girls beat FC Prime last weekend? The score isn't posted yet on the ECNL site for some reason.

Noticed TBU girls ECNL teams failing to make playoffs, just showcase from some teams but winning the college commit war with WFF. Wonder how TBU commit list matches up with other clubs in the SE conference, like Tophat or Concorde.

That said, it’s obvious that TBU is doing a better job or getting their players exposed and committed than WFF.

Via merger, TBU merged several times over the years with smaller clubs. This one merger netted lots of commits on the girls side rivaling TBU.

I do understand that TBU is the measuring stick and that clubs are desperate to compare themselves to TBU.
