U11G~ Wa. Timbers beat FC Portland in PK's. Class act by FC coach after game. Congratulated and gave our girls high 5s. Don't see that often so worth mentioning publicly. Plus this site always need positive vibes one in awhile.

Good point, but it is U11 soccer. There should always be high fives and good sportsmanship at this age and would be if left to the kids. What ruins it is the parents on the sidelines, and FC is famous for boorish behavior. Enjoy the feel good while you can. The grown ups will screw it up by next season.

FC's Coach Durano (former Westside dad and Westside coach) is a class act. I'm sure he says things to the parents if they need it.
