He might choose to make one, and only one, change to his party's platform in the 2016 election. A change that benefited Russia:

He changed that position unexpectedly and shortly after one of his people met with a Russian oligarch on his private plane

That president might work to block election interference bills that would have stopped foreign powers from helping him again in 2020:

Moscow Mitch has been blocking bills ever since Trump was elected. This isn't just about Trump but a concerted effort to ignore it by the entire party. It gives Putin exactly what he wants - distrust in the system.

I believe you posted about this on another thread - the House passed a bill in July with a 3.1% military pay raise, what the WH asked for. Trump signed it in August.

Farmers wouldn't need a $25B payout if Trump hadn't started his un-winnable trade war. While they initially supported Trump, some are losing patience with him. They fear that relationships that took them years to build up will never be recovered if and when a deal ver happens.

You sound like Moscow Mitch, ignoring continued attempts by Russia to interfere in our elections

"You don't need to change votes to cause chaos" https://www.wired.com/story/russia-2...y-mark-warner/

(following release of a bipartisan Senate report on Russian interference) “There’s still much more we can and must do to protect our elections,” Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., the top Democrat on the committee, said. “I hope the bipartisan findings and recommendations outlined in this report will underscore to the White House and all of our colleagues, regardless of political party, that this threat remains urgent, and we have a responsibility to defend our democracy against it.” https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...rence-n1034736

"Russia is determined to interfere in U.S. elections despite sanctions and other efforts to deter such actions before the next presidential election in 2020, FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Tuesday." https://www.reuters.com/article/us-u...-idUSKCN1UI1XW

"A bipartisan Senate investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election released today definitively implicates the country in online operations designed specifically to get then-candidate Donald Trump elected. The tactics used were “overtly and almost invariably supportive” of his campaign, even to the detriment of other Republicans. The report recommends major changes to how disinformation and election interference are handled in this country. The bulk of the report, volume 2 of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation of Russian interference (the first arrived in July), focuses on the specifics of the country’s use of social media and other online channels to affect the election. https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/08/se...-national-psa/

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that she doubts Congress has enough time left to pass the USMCA this year, but Democrats and the Trump administration will continue talks next week to work out a compromise on remaining issues".

Wait, what???? Not enough time left to pass the USMCA this year? Seriously? Something that would potentially have an enormous benefit for the American people and she doesn't have enough time. What has she been doing? What could possibly be taking up so much of her time that she doesn't think the USMCA is important enough? What could possibly be taking away from the House of Representative's duties to help America become stronger? Hold on a second. I know. Could it 3 years of hard, tiresome, endless, all-consuming work to impeach our President? Say it isn't so. Please tell me we sent our Representatives to DC to work for us and for our strength and prosperity. The amount of incompetence is astounding! I guess we will all just wait until poor Nancy can find the time. Well done, Libtards!

that guys is owned by the Russians. Pee movies are least of his concern and we all know that happened. What depraved person would even dream that up, but we all can see Trump somehow asking for some of that!

Financial kompromat is what Putin has. MBS also. Erdogan had a hold on him because of his projects in Istanbul. Xi has a hold on him because he wants to build in China (he wants to build in Russia and SA also). His tax bill is saving his family hundreds of millions. Every time the Fed lowers rates he saves millions. Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dee are supposedly running the family business without getting his approval on everything? Laughable. Emoluments clause violations. Even John Bolton said Trump's decisions are driven by personal interests.

"Of all the possible motives for Trump’s inexplicable obsequiousness to Russia, the possibility that his comeback from a highly publicized 2004 bankruptcy is due to Russian money laundering is the one can’t be ruled out—at least not yet."
