Yep, ol' General Bonespurs has surrendered to ISIS again. Does he really believe that his best friend, the Grey Cardinal, is going to take care of things? What an obtuse idiot!

Ok warmongers, now I've seen it all. You really going to complain about Trump bringing our troops home? ISIS is extinct. We are done policing the world. Time to take care of our own. Curious as to how long both of you served? That's what I thought.

Yes, I'm going to complain about this insane withdrawal. You don't convince your allies to scale down their defenses and then leave them undefended. If you were in the military, you'd know that troop reduction and/or redeployment isn't always the best decision for our national security.

Oh, and BTW, what is it, exactly, that Trump has done for military personnel and families?

^ good Lord, dude, learn to punctuate so that your ramblings are readable. I know this is a forum, and I'm not a grammar Nazi, but I've seen 2nd and 3rd graders that are clearer than you.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostTrump has done nothing for our troops or vets. In fact he wants to cut spending on base improvements and new schools for US military kids for his vanity wall.
https://www.militarytimes.com/news/p...d-border-wall/ Defense Department budget experts found an extra $224 million from the military’s new Blended Retirement System because fewer service members than expected opted into the new system in 2018, leaving some of that money unspent, according to the newspaper.
The shift in money out of the retirement accounts will not impact any military benefits for current service members or retirees.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/mi...nt-trump-wall/
What's True
As part of a larger transfer of funding from various Defense programs, $223.9 million would be made available for border-wall construction that had been budgeted for a new military-retirement program.
What's False
The $223.9 million was available because of a lower-than-expected opt-in rate in the new retirement program in 2018, so the transfer for border-wall construction was therefore not a "cut to benefits," as such.

His proposed cuts to Medicaid and Medicare hurt the military and vets https://budget.house.gov/publication...ucial-programs
He lied about raising military pay https://www.militarytimes.com/news/p...ary-pay-again/
He expanded already existing program for vet choice on doctors. He of course claimed it was his doing
"The facts: Trump did not invent the idea of giving veterans the option to see private doctors outside the Department of Veterans Affairs medical system at government expense. Nor is he the first president in 40 years to pass the program. Congress approved the private-sector Veterans Choice health program in 2014 and Obama signed it into law. Trump expanded it."
His claims about improving vet suicide numbers
"The estimated average (number of suicides) has not budged since. Trump has pledged additional money for suicide prevention and created in March a Cabinet-level task force that will seek to develop a national roadmap for suicide prevention, part of a campaign pledge to improve health care for veterans. Still, a report by the Government Accountability Office in December found the VA had left millions of dollars unspent that were available for suicide prevention efforts. The report said VA had spent just $57,000 out of $6.2 million available for paid media, such as social-media postings, thanks in part to leadership turmoil at the agency."
Claims about returning of remains from NK? Mix ed at best
"No remains of U.S. service members have been returned since last summer and the U.S. suspended efforts in May to get negotiations on the remains back on track in time to have more repatriated this year. It hopes more remains may be brought home next year. The Pentagon’s Defense POW-MIA Accounting Agency, which is the outfit responsible for recovering U.S. war remains and returning them to families, “has not received any new information from (North Korean) officials regarding the turn over or recovery of remains,” spokesman Charles Prichard said Wednesday. Prichard said his agency is “still working to communicate” with the North Korean army “as it is our intent to find common ground on resuming recovery missions” in 2020. Last summer, in line with the first summit between Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un that June, the North turned over 55 boxes of what it said were the remains of an undetermined number of U.S service members killed in the North during the 1950-53 war. So far, six Americans have been identified from the 55 boxes. U.S. officials have said the North has suggested in recent years that it holds perhaps 200 sets of American war remains. Thousands more are unrecovered from battlefields and former POW camps.
