Both unbeaten, but the Buffs haven’t played the big PAC 12 schools yet. Just underway.

      Cardinal unmask the pretender Buffs.

A couple kids who play more like hockey players than soccer players kicking the ball to nowhere. Dramatic throw ins that lead to nothing. Now, we have to hope the other teams lose. Better than last year but with the depth on the team, we should be winning the league.
Nice guy. Coaches like a club coach trying to showcase players instead of playing the best to win. Should have beaten penn.

The most possible way for Harvard to back in is for Penn to lose to Brown next Sat. Brown has spoiled or almost spoiled it for several teams. Then have Penn tie Princeton the following week. Of course Harvard must beat Dartmouth then Columbia. A challenge in itself.

He subbed in three players the entire game, so that’s not it. I’m just not convinced he should be coaching at this level. Even if they win out and Penn and Princeton falter, I’m not persuaded he should ever have gotten the job.

Ivy League and Patriot league are both getting better top to bottom. 1st place through 7th place are all tough games. Cornell is the only sure W. Patriot league is the same 1st-5th are all very solid teams and with Lehigh Lafayette HC AmerIcan and Loyola being weaker than top.
Lucky for the Patriot League that they have a conference tourney.

Ivy League may want to change this for it's soccer too. Or since conference record based as far as determining champion, play conference teams twice. One game playoffs each game is kind of harsh. Obviously, home team has advantage in those and if you play twice, no advantage.

CH, you know how this works. Take it up with the Ivy League if you think this is a good idea.

This may be an interesting idea for the Ivy crowd but it is rare for an Ivy to get any traction in the tournament. Princeton was the Cinderella story last year and I like their style of play, but I haven’t seen many Ivies with high RPIs and when they have them, they tend to lose early in the tournament.

Not sure how high rpi fits in. Plenty of one and dones in ncaa's. But some aren't. Difference all of other conferences have a playoff.

It would be interesting to see what the league thinks. They have done that in basketball and then the Ivy League winner doesn't end up going to the tournament if they lose in the playoff. They like it when they are on the right side of the game.

It makes sense to do this. These old league rules were when ivys were not trying to seem as if they were promoting athletics over academics. Now that they see no one would ever think that in the ivys, maybe their league advisors will come around. Plus it makes for good tailgates. :)
