Congrats on winning states. Why don't you go ask LL why they are not permitted into NEP. It'll save you the headache of going back and forth on this site. You can then come back and share your findings.

How exciting is the State Cup gonna be this year? Are they just gonna call it the Maple Blue Championship? You'd have to have rocks in your head if someone enters their Maple team into the U14 State Cup to go against SSS. Will the US Club Soccer teams have any type of a MA State Cup/Champion this year?

Yes, US Club soccer is having a state cup this year, regional and national championship. They are allowing any team to enter not just US Club Soccer unlike MYSA or USYSA. They actually want the best to play. I will agree with a past poster. Why even do State Cup games for MYSA when only MAPLE teams can play. The winner of MAPLE Blue or D1 is the state cup champion.

http://www.nepstatecups.com/ MAPLE is a great League for producing State Cup Champions. Only 1 State Cup Champion did not come from NEP and that was SSS at U13 Girls.

Seriously you are not this stupid. NEP had 11 of the 12 state champions and 9 of 12 finalist last year in MYSA and you still think this league is not stronger than MAPLE. I actually think the kids did answer the questions last year and the they decided just like the ECNL founding clubs we can do it better.

I think these are facts and you are mudslinging because you know you have nothing to back up your league. Will a team from MAPLE beat a NEP, NPL and ECNL team, yes. Will it happen a lot, no. Anything in sports is possible and that is why we play the game and not let on paper decide the outcomes.

NEP is for the big clubs whose main focus is money, Maple is now for smaller clubs whose focus is Soccer - Simple really

False. Small clubs are focused on the money just as much, even more. I've had kids in both and it was small Maple club that kept maxing out the roster with younger to just take the $$$, even though those kids could barely get 15 min a half. No extra training, and unlicensed coaches. It's the big club NEP team that kept the roster small with only 4 subs, provided lots of extra soccer training and thank God did not make me sell calendars and cookie dough. Much happier where we are now.

Sss has many hidden costs and package options that easily doubles to quadruples the initial cost. Players have to "mandatorally" pay for every league, clinic or tournament even if they can't attend. Actually, it's double for tournaments and the schedule runs their family's lives. Obviously, your still drinking the SSSC kook aide. Good luck with that.

Don't know if you're serious, and trying to convince everyone you're still relevent, or just new to the whole thing? If you're new, and someone has told you this, I would suggest you do a lot more research before you become disenchanted with it all. Good luck!
