When a team in the top ten of the coaches poll plays a team with an RPI of 53, it should be a cake walk. In the past BC has been much higher. Perhaps you have lost track of how far this team has fallen. Not a single win this year over a quality opponent.

Right you are on three out of four sentences. Still, last time I looked, ND beat lowly Louisville by just 1-0. ND gets plenty of shots, but it can't hit the broad side of a barn. (You can look it up.) The Fighting Irish could easily have another one of those off nights.

The stats show the Louisville GK was very active in keeping her team in the game against ND. She saved 7 of 8 shots on her goal. In the game against BC she didn't have to work nearly as hard...saving 2 out of 3 shots on her goal. (You can look it up.)

Looks like it wasn't so much an 'off' night for ND as it was an 'on' night for the Louisville keeper.

I'm talking about the season, skippy - look it up and compare with really good teams, or even BC. ND can't hit the broad side of a barn. As for the Louisville game. 22 shots and 1 goal is not great. Nineteen straight Irish shots couldn't find the back of the net. Looking forward to watching BC beat ND on half the shots.

As always, you BC folks forget defense. ND held UVA down and they needed a last second goal to salvage a victory. Against BC, UVA could have scored 10 if they felt like it. They had the scrubs in most of the second half, and they should have put a couple in.

In the last 8 games all against ACC opponents, ND has 7 shutouts, then gave up 2 goals to UVA. Now that is defense.

BC getting punished for their soft non conference schedule. North Florida? UW - Milwaukee?

They may be getting "punished", but BC, even in a down year, is the areas best team. Competing in the nations toughest conference.

"Competing"? Hardly. They play in the best conference. 3 -7 is not competing

Pitt plays in that league too and how good are they? I wouldn't call the UVA game competing. So BC will be watching multiple New England teams play in the dance, one of which beat them. How long was your streak?

Let's face it. New England D1 Womens soccer is awful this year. Bad. Horrible. Pathetic.

You are all embarassing yourselves. Wait for next year. Maybe there will be something to brag about then.

But saying, "yeah we suck but we suck less than you" is just sad.

You guys are incredible. You give no credit. It is an accomplishment to be recruited by BC. Few players make that cut. It is tougher again to start and play, against many of the best players in the country. Top players want to challenge themselves and there is no greater challenge than the ACC. Even in a down year these players get to experience the game at a level most of our kids only dream about. Not every player can be an All American on the national championship team.

Oh yeah. Let's not forget BC kids graduate with a degree from one of the finest colleges in the country.

UConn has quietly risen to 25 in the most recent rankings.

                              Sorry Eagleman.

There are different levels of greatness. Settling for being at one of the bottom levels only impresses those who are at levels below you.
