All these awards list have some deserving and some here and there that are undeserving on them. I tend to think that they get it right for the most part. With that said, there are some excellent players playing on crappy HS teams that are left out in the cold on some of these lists. Unfortunately for them, 1 player can not turn a team into a playoff contender, especially in some of the tougher leagues like the FCIAC, SWC, etc.

If Jess Mazo didn’t have Jack N as her high school coach she would nearly be all state. Immaculate has all Americans every year that stink. The only bonafide All AmerIcan is the GK from North Branford.
UConn is getting 2 of the All Americans
BC is getting 1
Quinnipiac is getting 1
The prep school player is not committed as a junior.
