There are some Sporting kids at OW, just not many and even fewer on DA teams, just premier. There's also kids from many other clubs at OW also. Sporting wants people to think they have a pipeline to OW and they definitely do not.

Ow is full of kids from all clubs. Never mentioned here, but southeast kids go every year and they aren't the best kids. Ow happily takes in payers

Two southeast 05s. One plays center mid other is keeper. Oakwood has kids from all over. They don't develop. Look at the terrible ulittle teams. Btw, 05 southeast keeper is actually on 04 team

Based on the nature and type of club that Oakwood exists as, isn't it then true that all players at Oakwood came from another club at one time or another?

Why does Sporting even want to be perceived as an Oakwood feeder in the first place?

They think it gives them credibility as talent developers and that being a feeder club to DA is appealing to parents of younger players. But Sporting isn't a "feeder." The kids that move over are few and far between, no different than any other mid-level club in the the area. Those kids are simply more talented and/or work harder and have the ability to move up the soccer ladder. OW only needs some outside players plus some of their own to put teams together. Yes OW has player churn but it's not like they burn through 100% of their players either.

Definitely not 100%, only about 70-80% turnover between U12-U14. Younger than that they could care less about your money-makes (I mean kids) and when they need to get serious and start winning, they just bring in outsiders and replace the kids that they had since YTL at U6.
