DIII and DII have cancelled fall championships because of these guidelines.

Where is the good news for anyone?

Finally a school athletic dept with balls...soccer balls. Players from guys team at party dismissed. If they don't hold football or basketball accountable,, if they party too, probably lawsuits will be filed.

Kids can’t party at college, but did and we’re dismissed because of something that does not effect kids in the least.

You sound like the person who would organize the party, have people get infected and then say “ no one got sick”.

So they were covid positive before they had the party ,had a party tested positive and were suspended.Did the school test these kids before they came to campus.?Hows one to know your positive if your asymptomatic. If they knew they were positive for corona then I see this as correct.

many schools are requiring signed pledges that students will notify the school if they're positive (if outside tested) and follow the school's isolation requirements. If they knew they were positive and violated school policy, then too bad. You get whatever punishment the school laid out. They are trying to prevent campus and community spread as much as they possibly can. Dumb fuks can mess it up for everyone

School specific responsibility pledges mandate adherence to policies including limiting gatherings both on and off campus to 10 people or less. Violating that agreement is an honor code violation generally, which could potentially get students expelled.

I believe by the rules of the TS covid mob you aren't allowed to post this kind of information. No ray of hope is too small to be crushed immediately.

In fact, you are about to be labelled irresponsible for even reading the article in the first place.

Rules set by school. Kids violated. That is what is being enforced. Not many affected. No one hospitalized.

I would rather my kid get it, build immunities and move on. Kids that have other issues should be the cautious ones.

Take that snowflake commissioners. Do they even leave their basements to make decisions?
Spring sports for nothing. Who cares? High school stuff.

Students at UMass were registering for move in slots Wednesday night. Yesterday UMass turned on a dime and went fully remote, no students, no move in. So there's that. Good luck.
