Have you ever learned critical thinking, yo?

Do you know what it means, yo?

      1. Kids come in contact with those that can be hurt.
      2. For the "minority" that can be hurt, are they simply sacrificial lambs to your short term purposes of amusement?

No, he's saying prevent the kids from coming in contact with those that can be hurt. Protect the minority (they aren't sacrificial lambs) but don't doing it by putting everyone in quarantine and destroying the economy along with our entire way of life.

If only it were that easy to protect tens of millions who are elderly, undergoing cancer treatment, autoimmune disease, other preexisting conditions that raise your risk (many), brand new babies....so easy

At this point it might be easier to track New England or region based NCAA conferences that have not pulled the plug. NESCAC, MASAC have pulled the plug. I thought NEC had as well. Empire 8 and Skyline in NY (ok, agree not New England but W. Mass programs play them as out of conference matches) also. Have CCC and GNAC and LEC decided? Even if they haven't all have multiple schools that have pulled all fall sports so reduced in conference to assay the least...

NE10 and Ivy have cancelled as prior posters have mentioned. My kid's friend said Mid Atlantic in Penn/Maryland still open and playing, but clearly not New England or regional to the Northeast. Maybe they lose the fall and D1,2,3 shift to the spring if a vaccine comes out, but for D3 at least they don't lose a year of eligibility due to the blanket waiver.

Patriot also, but most cancellations are D3. Even in D3 it's still not even half cancelling - yet.

The NCAA said today data is not going in the direction of wanted. The article I read - very reputable publication - said NCAA classified soccer in the same high risk category as football and basketball. I thought soccer was moderate?

                      Shouldn't be happening.

Rumor that BE,B10, ACC soccer would be called but they can't do it for health reasons and still have their FB teams(-BE) out there on the field. It's a little razzle dazzle.

I really hope the BE gets their 10g in and the NCAA has a playoff. Thanks to the Red States behaving like idiots. Don't think it's going to happen though. Shouldn't be happening.

There was talk before Covid of moving the men’s college game to a full year format. Couldn’t we try that this year? Teams who want to and can do it could play some of their games in the fall and the rest in the spring and those who can’t could just play all their games in the spring. It isn’t perfect but there is no way the ncaa can hold a championship this fall when so many colleges won’t be playing.

At this point, it’s only football that is keeping the soccer season alive for B10 and ACC. Most of the schools in these conferences need that football $$$$. If they don’t get it, their athletic departments will be hurting.

Many schools didn't want that even pre covid - give one team a whole year and other sports will want the same. Now with extreme cost cutting there is no way schools will want it extended.

Which leaves a lot of schools that don't get big football money more free to cancel - and possibly big basketball also. Many of the schools that have already cancelled said winter sports will probably be delayed until after the New Year and even that won't be definite until Nov/Dec
