Truth is that many people feel deceived... we were told that we needed to do X, Y & Z to flatten the curve. We did. The curve has been flattened. As a reward, Baker & Co. give us daily threats that they will take over our backyards by force if need be. So, f*ck it man.

The reward for flattening the curve was to not overwhelm the hospitals so that every patient would be given adequate care, treatment, and equipment to beat the virus. That was done pretty well, but we have since learned that the virus is primarily an aerosol spread, hence the need for masks & distancing to reduce exposure. As we learn more about the virus, other things do change as well, such as treatment, PPE, recovery, etc. So for those that say the gov't didn't recommend mask wearing in March, remember things change as we get new information. Also, they were trying to preserve the N95s and surgical masks for the front line workers.

Remeber flatten the curve? When did the metric to reopening become “change the curve to a reverse slant”? Moving goal posts...

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI understand all that, but the “let’s save the masks for the frontline workers” was a huge mistake and frankly shows how clueless our leaders were and to a certain extent still are. Many countries all over the world did NOT have adequate mask supplies yet they mandated their citizens use anything they could come up with... the message was clear from day one: cover your face! Look into what the Czech Republic did if you doubt me. So yeah, big mistake that cost people’s lives... Dr.Fauci who is the nations God, himself said masks are useless. Come on now.

Personally I was wearing a mask before Baker mandated it.
Also... people in MA have been some of the best at wearing masks, yet one of the worst states in number of deaths per capita. Who's fault is that? The "selfish" guy?

This will be over by November 4th. There will be a miracle cure, or an admission that the numbers were reported incorrectly, and the death rate were not all from COVID-19.
Sorry to everyone who lost their jobs, homes and businesses. Our Bad.

Unless "they wrong guy" wins. Then we'll be locked down again, power will be shut off, anything to cause more damage and uncertainty.
